Kit and Jon met on Halloween in 2008. She was a fortune teller. He was a hobbit. She was the only one who knew what he was. After she read his palm, he was smitten. Unfortunately, it would take a couple more years of convincing before she decided to give him a chance.

In 2010 Kit and Jon finally made it official and Kit allowed Jon to refer to her as his "girlfriend." After graduating in 2011, they moved up to Chicago with their small dog, where they've lived since.

Over the next 15 years they would share grand adventures: San Francisco, Germany, Cuba, and more than a few trips to New Orleans. Whether abroad or just at home they would enjoy each other's company, chattering with one another every step of the way.

Now they're ready to set off on the grandest adventure yet: marriage! And it only took Kit fifteen years to say yes.
